Calling All My Chiang Rai Mates - Limbo Et Al.

Featured Replies

The Mobi road trek is finally taking shape, and I plan to leave Pattaya on Sunday 9th Sept, spend 10th and 11th September in Chiang Mai, where I will catch up with Thai Pauly and others, and then onto Chiang Rai for one night (12th) before heading back to Pattaya, via Issan.

My wife, daughter, and daughter's boy friend will be accompanying me in the Mobi mobile.

So if any of my friends in CR are available on 12th, please let me know.

Thanks

Mobi

Can anyone recommend a half way decent Hotel in Chiang Rai, that might not be too far from where all you guys hang out?

Wiang Inn...I can probably get you a special deal from the guy thats sorting out your accomodation in CM. Its central to town and he roms are nice.

There is always the Wancum Hotel, which is right next to Wancum Massage Parlour in Wancum street..but I have absolutley no experience of these places.

Rate is about 1,650 for the Wiang ...thays what I paid so it wont be much if any different Mobi.

Please forgive me any spelling mistakes guys.

Wiang Inn is a very nice hotel with a good pool and very good breakfast. The room are a little bit "used" but not too bad.

And just 150 m too Bo´s Place!

Welcome!

Pimann Inn is good too if you are with the Mobi-mobile (about a quarter of the price). Just give us a call when you are approaching town.

I might be able to get you a discount at the Wiang Inn.

Welcome!

Thanks Limbo.

We will be there next Wednesday (12th) evening, and I won't be booking ahead, so I will call you sometime on Tuesday.

See you soon

Hi everyone,

there has been a last minute change of plan.

Due to the fact that we didn't arrive at Sukhothai till late, due a duff battery en route which had to be replaced, followed by a failure of my car's air con after arriving in CM, we are now running a day late!

This means that we will now be motoring up to the Wiang Inn in CR on the morning of 13th (Thursday), arriving around lunch time, and will depart CR on 14th.

So I would like to catch up with anyone who is available on the evening of 13th.

Hope that will be possible?

Mobi
