give it up will you, your just showing your ignorance when it comes to the greatest sport on earth.

When people tell me to quit, that's when I dig my heels in.

So here we have a video claiming "Haaland is not human". So you cannot be a superstar football player unless you are half human half alien?

Obviously they are hyping players up to promote the sport.

But what they neglect to tell you is that the reason some of these players look like aliens is because most of the other players are talentless and mediocre.

Your attempts at ethnic erasure have long been noted Raymond.

Racist Ray never fails to try to eradicate English ethnicity. 😄

Not in the slightest, Jonny.

Where have I started that the indigenous tribes of England never existed? What I have said is that there are an infinitesimally small number of Englishman alive today whose lineage is 100% derived from these ancient English tribes.

5 hours ago, JonnyF said:

Back in reality, Ethnically English refers strictly to the ancestral gene pool, historical lineage, and native indigenous-indigenous blend unique to the land of England. It is entirely separate from holding a British passport or living in the UK.

Your "reality"😂

Naughty, naughty Jonathan. Trying to sneak in a redefinition of the phrase, 'ethnic English' on the sly. It comes as no surprise given your track record in doing so, although I must admit that I nearly missed it on this occasion.

So let's unpack this new definition of the 'Ethnic English'. This phrase is no longer solely defined by a pure lineage to the indigenous tribes of England but, in addition, a lineage which includes some "'indigenous blend' unique to the land of England" (whatever that undefined jumble of words might mean?). However, having said that, I'll hazard a guess that your revised definition of "ethnic English" includes those of Roman, Norman, etc ancestry but not those of - oh, I don't know - African ancestry, perhaps?

If he talks like a racist .....

5 hours ago, JonnyF said:

Black immigrants are no more ethnically English than settlers in New Zealand are Maori?

Agreed. But by using the same logic, you must concur that invaders/settlers in England such as the Normans, Romans, Vikings, etc are no more ethically English than settlers in the US are native American.

5 hours ago, JonnyF said:

Do you deny the existence of other ethnicities as well? Do you claim there is no such thing as Yamato (Japanese)? Maori? Basque? Han? Do you wish to erase these as well or is your hatred reserved for the ethnically English?

I don't deny the concept of ethnic English i.e. the existence of the indigenous tribes of England, what I deny is that it has little bearing on what 'Englishness' means in the 21st century. And of course I don't deny the existence of other ethnicities or hate white, sorry, the "ethnically English". Unlike you I am (largely) rational.

Oh dear Raymond. Sad old Raymond. You've deliberately omitted the word "ethnically" to change the meaning of what I said. 😄

A dirty trick even by your low standards.

I've never claimed they do not have "English" nationality. If they didn't then they wouldn't be allowed to play under FIFA rules. England would be thrown out of the competition. Even Marc Guehi who was born in Ivory Coast and came to England as a child qualifies through nationality.

The debate has always been whether they are ethnically English. The fact you are now leaving out the with "ethnically" is highly amusing. Great news. You've clearly realized you've lost the debate and are trying to reframe it. Dear oh Dear. Sad old Raymond.. 😄😄 😄

A pathetic reply even by your ever-decreasingly low standards.

You accuse me of deliberately omitting the word "ethnically" when the usage of that word is exactly what I was challenging you about in my post.

Why don't you try to address the questions and points which I raise directly? Your evasion and inability to justify your racism when challenged is clear for all to see.

"Black people are not English". That is a racist statement. Own the label, Jonny.

You’ve been getting awfully emotional of late Jonny.

Are you OK?

This guy is from England and ranting about the football team (and immigration in general).

But he has a point. Because if I am from France, rooting for the France team seems ridiculous. The players are all from Africa. Who are you rooting for exactly?

What should an England football team represent? For many people, citizenship is enough. If you're eligible under the rules and proud to wear the shirt, that's the end of the discussion. Others believe a national team should also reflect the country's historic people, ancestry and cultural identity—not just its legal citizenship. In this video I explore a difficult question that most people avoid: Is there a difference between British citizenship, English nationality and English ancestry?

The team's racial composition needs to be equitable or something similar.

just proof that politics and sport should not mix.

International sport is now riddled with top class sportsman playing for countries not of their birth.

Personally i don't see the issue, most of the African born players in the French team spent their youthful years in France, this is the same for English players, whether they be playing football, cricket or Rugby.

If people have a problem watching a black player playing for England i suggest they turn off their TV and go out and do something else.

Please don't reply with some useless video i won't watch as they prove nothing, just give air time to fools and their followers.

It's an IQ / intelligence / ability to think ahead thing.
If an intelligent white man tells them exactly what to do, and it's not very complicated, they can do it.

In the hyper competitive world of football clubs can't afford to hire DEI managers - so they don't.
Some have tried but have been burnt.

TLDR: If blacks could manage as well as whites, big clubs would hire them.

PS. To be clear, just being white doesn't necessarily mean youre not also a retard - just less of a chance statistically

Sorry 3 minutes of the video was enough for me; I don't have the patience to watch any more. A generous interpretation would be to say that his thoughts are disorganised although I think that the more likely explanation iis the one put forward by members of his own family: He is racist and he appears - like a poster on this board - to be searching for an intellectual reason to justify his racism. (A futile exercise as no such reason exists).

Re France: The French squad are not "all from Africa". Only three, namely

Michael Olise (UK) , Marcus Thuram (Italy) and Brice Samba (Congo) were born outside of France. Does there need to be a certain number of Gauls or Aquantini in the squad for you to feel an affinity with them? Similar story for England, of course; just change the name of the tribes.

Kind of defeats the purpose though doesn't it?
You could also call a tango a coke, or a cock in a frock a lady but does that make it so?

Of course it's OK for African teams to be all black or Japan, China etc but the white man must embrace diversity or be punished!

Yes, actually. Thats exactly right.
I was rooting for Norway. There's actually a connection between ancestry and nation.

Now that they're out, I think I'll stop watching.

We're come full circle which actually is no bad thing as you now have no hiding place.

  1. Black people and their descendants are not ethnically English because they are from one of the indigenous tribes of England.

  2. Normans, Vikings and Romans (and others) and their descendants are not ethnically English because they are not from one of the indigenous tribes of England.

Do you think that both of these statements are true? If not, please explain why statement 1) is true and statement 2) false.

No diversion into DEI policies, alleged hatred of whites or other such nonsense. Stick to the questions posed and answer them.

As the saying goes: 'You're having a laugh, right?'

Do you seriously think a racist statement made by the Spanish PM contained within a video posted by another racist can be used to justify racism. At the very least, it's a circular argument.

I'll put your inability to produce logical arguments and general irrationality down to your youth. After all, what are you? "Only" +/-50?

England team tactics are to get in front then defend, worked very well against Mexico but doesn’t appeal to the fans.

On this occasion a 1-0 lead with 35 minutes to go against a world class opponent was a bridge too far.

It is reflected in some of our pop culture also:

“Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day/game “

“ you fritter and waste the [ half ] hours in an offhand way “

“Its the English way “

Argentina was dominating the play in the last 25 minutes.

And they have enough talented players to pull off 2 last minute goals. Even on top of the goals, they had a few other close chances.

What a team.

I'm rooting for Messi. The guy's 41, I think.

He should be too old to play, but he's still got it.

And his wife wanted to leave him and take half his assets, but he wisely put his assets in his mother's name so his wife can't get to them.

Messi often acts like a spoilt brat at times but his abilities are beyond question, a pleasure to watch.

England brought their defeat upon themselves, normally when a team takes the lead they will go all out for another goal while their opponent is deflated.

Tuchel immediately brought on defenders and killed the vibe of the game.

From reports from many England fans watching the game it was not a matter of if but when.

Probably a few beer cans hurled at tv screens in England when Argentina sealed the deal with that second goal.

Hey Jude Bellingham is only 23, so good luck in 2030.

Yes England lost.

You could see which team was going to win during the national anthems. Argentina were united, every single man bellowing out the anthem with pride, real togetherness and team spirit.

England looked like a rag tag bunch of strangers, some singing it, some pretending to sing it, some looking embarrassed. The German coach totally ignoring it.

And what played out? Both teams were mediocre technically, yet Argentina totally dominated the second half with tenacity and determination.

A victory for patriotism and homogeneity. For determination and togetherness. Well done Argentina. You deserved it. Tuchel got it all wrong. Hopefully we can get an English coach next time. Maybe Eddie Howe.

Sorry, I meant to say Diversity is our greatest strength 3 times. 😄

Yeah Tuchel got it badly wrong. Changed to 4-5-1 and sat back, so when they equalized the game was basically over as we had a load of defensive players on the field and zero momentum.

We were bang average all tournament to be honest. Defended against Mexico, lucky against Norway.

Great to see Spain and Argentina in the final.

Djed Spence was superb last night, tearing down the wing, a joy to watch.

The Argentinian players were all riled up about The Falklands, even unfurling a banner on the pitch post game.
