Hi,

I will eventually be able to settle in Isaan (Khun Han) south of Sisaket sometimes next year.

In the meantime I have been in and out of Thailand for the last 10 years.

Yesterday October 4 I got my 1 year retirement extension at Kap Cheong very easy with the Embassy income letter only. (details in visa section)

They suggested I applied next time at the Phusing office as it was nearer to my residence.

I want to thank all who responded to my queries for info on immigration near Sisaket and also on local accomodation.

I met Martin at the FC for the first time in person and understand why his restaurant and website is so popular. He has the right mix of services we are looking for all with a smile !

Also Franck at the living in the past in Sisaket pointed me to interresting places.

For info Chom Sang Nam border point is now very well signposted from route 24 near Phusing.

Looking forward to meet you all at the next Thai visa do at the FC ans I missed the latest one by a day
