Thai Customer Service

A mate from UK asked if I could get him some parts for his Mitsubishi L200 truck (imported from Thailand 5-6 years ago). I went to three main dealers and each time I was told "no have". They didn't check on the computer, look out the back or ask a collegue, nothing. When I asked them to check, they wouldn't. I think they were only programmed to say "no have".

On the occasions i have visited offices I have been amazed at the number of girls filing nails, plucking eyebrows, painting nails, squeezing spots, texting etc, in fact doing anything but office work.

The wheels of industry grind very slowly here, but I still don't want to go back to the UK.

I take my CRV to Honda for service every few months and a few days afterwards Honda calls me to see if everything is ok and to measure my customer experience. Last week they called me following a routine service and the call went like this:

Mr, "Chiang Mai"

Yes.

You speak Thai?

No.

click .......

Well at least she tried!
