I hafta say.....odd or not, it does the job it was designed to do. :D

Which is?

Oh help sell a bike to rather odd men? Yeh sure..i guess that works...

The local bike that they all ride.

Who is she?

Oh, she's a bike saleperson. I was curious for a while there. Perhaps with the commission from the sales she can buy some new clothes.

Hmmm...I understandd Eek focusing on her clothes.....I understand the OP ambiguously alluding to the bike....but I hafta admit that I don't understand you focusing on the clothes.

:)

Ok Hardcourt if we gonna get mean (and its your fault, you made me!), if you look beyond the cooky bizarre glasses, and the hair that i think is a wig??, and the extremely odd clothes, what are you left with..? ..a girl who looks rather plain..(are you even sure thats a lady? Sorry..but really! Do i detect a touch of 'tash even?) BUT, thats me being mean. Im sure in everyday circumstances she looks really pretty, but the whole put together thing is rather strange looking. However, it is a funny interesting touch to the usual promo girl plastic fantastic getup. :)

*withdrawing my claws*

It is really irritating. We go there to look at bikes and then find we have those girls stand with them.

It is terrible.

:)

To be perfectly honest i actually thought Pooklook posted that pic for us to laugh at, not admire...lol.

Not the oddest, but certainly not attractive... at least by my taste in clothes.

However, how do you tell if someone is cute or not when they are riding a scooter while wearing a helmet? Some of the Thai boys don't look much different than the girls... even if they aren't trying to look like girls.

We've all been caught in no man's land while riding a bike in Thai traffic. If you try to stop for a changing light, and the guy behind you in a truck doesn't, then you get wiped out. If you go with the flow then chances are you'll be okay.

Get real, getta life, tis fun.

To be honest I am kind of surprised, I did not think that the use of suggestive imagery in product promotion would come as a shock to anyone in bedlam. The concept is very simple, draw attention to your product, when the customer stops you have a chance to make a sell. The lady in the photo has no direct connection to the motorbike. The sole purpose of her attire is to draw the attention of the potential customer away from a sea of similar products. This method has been used successfully around the world to sell many types of products in every form of media.

Yes, you never see attractive or scantily-dressed ladies in print or television advertising. That's probably why this post has drawn such attention.

:)

Although I must admit that when I first saw the post, I thought she looked like a young kid. In any event, she's obviously wearing what she was told to wear and it was probably selected by some gormless twit who has has no dress sense (a bit like myself).

Random Post.

Good graphics.

Sometimes, a punch in the nose says alot more than a letter.

NZ coming up soon, gawd help "The Black Caps"

Gawd..so i did my second bad driving thing ..withing a short space of my first bad driving thing (running that red light..as i mentioned before). I cant believe ive done two things wrong in a short space of time. Today The traffic was crazy around the moat at around 5pm as everyone was going home. Ive never gone at that time, so although i know the road well enough, i didnt know that a policeman mans a certain part where there are no lights. I was on the far end of a lot of traffic and motorbike after motorbike was zooming past and at first i didnt see him. But when i noticed him, he was waving everyone my side on, so i continued..but he seemed to suddenly do the hand stop signal after i was already too far gone to stop. I guess i just didnt pay enough attention...i dont know. But anyway he shouted at me "STOP!!!! yOu Stop!!"...so i pulled over to the side of the road out of the way and he scolded me by pointing to his held out hand and saying "Hand like this mean stop!!". I nodded and he waved me on. So if anyone saw a scarlet faced farang being scolded by a policeman at one of the bridge junctions along the moat this eve..it was me. :)

Nice to see, eek, that there are still decent people about who can actually be embarrassed when they do the wrong thing... :)

...Thank you Ping..never thought of it like that.. made me feel a bit better. :)
