Bought a top of the range digital camera twelve months ago for 19000B.

S/hand value now - about 7000B - to be expected.

Lost the "special" battery charger & the "special" IO lead.

Went to buy new ones. The thieves wanted nearly 7000B for these two items.

Warning - Don't ever loose a Sony part. The company makes 10x the profit out of one lost part than they do from the original sale. Worse than spare parts for cars.

I just got one to, thats not good news.

They must have changed their policy - i've had 2 cameras and one vidcam that all used the same battery/charger/data cables.

The polarity has changed a few times, but, the North Pole will always be the North Pole..... just have to change the printing on the compass
