Aloha, from Hawaii! I will be in Thai On September for about 12 days. I was wondering if it is worth the trouble staying at one end of Sukhumvit for about 5 days and than perhaps staying in a hotel some where else for the remainder.. I wanted to be able to experience as much as possible but not the hassles with hotels.

Has anyone ever stayed at the Four Wings Hotel?

There are so many Hotels to choose from .. ANy suggestions for around Baht 1500. I would be willing to pay a little more if it is worth it. I just want t anice place that is not run down, clean, friendly and will let my Tgf in with no problems. Should i register the room with both of our names? Mahalo in advance!

On second thought, I think there are enough hotels in Thai that We dont really need to commit to anyone hotel. Are reservations even necessary?

You do not need a reservation for that time period. At the most one night for the first day so you have somewhere to put the bags.
