Headlights/fortuner

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a question about my Fortuner.

I think the lights are real bad and wonder if there is any "upgrade kit" to get a proper light.

The Toyota I drive in Sweden have a lot better lights.

Just don't get those blinding lights the Thais are getting so fond of. you have 4 lights on the front already no ?

Hi,

Yes I have 4 lousy lamps...

But they are far from enough when driving in the dark.

Thanks Mikethevigoman,

I will go look at these xenon lights the first thing I do when I come to Thailand.

Do the Toyota dealer sell them?

I have a fortunerrrrrr and there's nothing wrong with our lights, in fact i used to be embarassed blinding people when it was new.

I also have a Ford Ranger and when i took in to the sticks the first time i couldn't see very far in front of us so i had to take it in to be fixed - the lights seemed to be realigned to shine further forward. Is that your problem maybe

I remember when I bought my Fortuner Toyota was selling HID (High Intensity Discharge lamp) lamp as genuine accessory at the dealer. But I've never seen that advertised or in accessory catalogue again after I bought the car in April last year.

They shouldn't be allowed. Just highlights the selfishness of these drivers :o As for parking lots, well that's another story.
