Zelinsky: The End Is Near
Good summary of the debacle. Whatever the rights and wrongs of the fiasco, no one shouts at the POTUS on his own turf in public and gets a good deal after. I can't see Trump backing down and making up with the ( shortly to be ex ) president of Ukraine. Kiss kiss love love, NOT. IMO the only hope Ukraine has now is a new president. The pathetic "leaders" of the EU twittering on about how they are going to support the Ukraine- they can't even fund their own military. -

And of course you have no defense for excusing Vance on the grounds that he is an American when it comes to the issue of free speech in Europe but his citizenship excuses him from criticizing Russia where the situation is far far worse. -

Pentagon Orders Expulsion of Transgender Troops Within 60 Days
I also served in the military (in the UK). We had different standards for women and men. It's significantly easier to pass the womens fitness tests than the mens, laughably easy in fact. The females I served with were embarrassed at having to stop the bleep test when they reached the passing grade at barely above brisk walking pace level to pass. Even an old fat bloke could pass the level set for an 18 year old female, so if he is allowed to take the female version of the test, he would probably be fit enough. -
