Hello given three different vehicles Rav 4 , CRv , Jeep, Fortunner, wht would you buy in thailand..I am looking at all these and am woundering if any of you have experience with these vehicle. In the following areas, gas, comfort, reliability and anything you can put in to this, and also service on theses units in thailand. please keep it simple.

I want to buy used in any model 2005 to 2007 after christmas..

what do u think

thanks in advance

I had originally considered going with the CRv but switched my preference to the Fortuner mainly because of my preference for its 3.0 Diesel as well as for its overall value/price ratio, though granted, the CRv beats out the Fortuner in a couple of head-to-head interior amenity match ups.

But now, I've settled on (the new)Isuzu's MU-7 Gold Series. It's only real weakness (compared to the Fortuner) is its exterior styling. But the (the new)Isuzu MU-7's 3.0 diesel and its transmission are looking good. Also, it's interior beats out the Fortuner's - (Fortuner's weakest point being it's cheap quality interior).

Does anyone have any experience with the Fortuner, CRv and (the new)Isuzu MU-7 (Gold Series) SUV comparisons?

I think you should get a Grand Vitara. The best interior among SUVs and "made in Japan" by the original Jeep makers.

Why anyone would want to buy an outdated styled car a pick up truck chassis beats me. Surely Toyota can't continue with that old fashioned styling much longer.

I currently have a 2002 CRV also a 2008 CRV both from new. Given the selection currently available in the market I would buy the same again.

I have a 2000 crv and a 2008 crv. Never had a single problem with my 00' crv with 244,000 km on it. It was a good all around car. The 08' crv was a big improvement over the 1st generation of crv, its more refine, feels pretty solid. I have good experiences with Honda cars and their reliability. I would agree with Rimmer, given the current selection on the market, i would choose the same car again (well I already did :o ).
