Where To Buy Decent Quality Kids' Bikes?

Featured Replies

I am looking for a bike or a trike for my three year old son. The ones in the malls and supermarkets have very flimsy stabilizers. I am looking for something solid. Any ideas? Thanks

I saw one in probike, lumpini park, 2 weeks ago. It looked really nice but my wife seems to think the price tag was around 5000 baht. I guess it depends on what sort of quality you want?

I am having the same problem for my 8yo. I am away on business right now, but in two weeks went I return I will try this place:

132/22 MOO 17 KANCHANAPISAKE RD.BANGRAMART, TALINGCHAN Bangkok 10170 - www.asiabike.com

I want to get him a very good quality BMX style bike. There was one other place in Bangkok that I found that has good quality bikes but I don't have the info with me. I will post it tomarrow. They are not cheap. The Haro Bicycles (American Co. that has been around a long time) are $200.00-$500.00 USD depending on the model. But kids are worth it.

As you have already found out, supermarkets are the place to buy baked beans and not bikes. Another vote for ProBike and there is a good shop just past Lat Phrao 101/3 on the main road, by a layby/bus stop.
