Roof Eaves Need To Line, Not Just Paint, Suggestions For Liner

two story house. eaves are just painted wall board. over time the eaves have become dirty and unsightly with mold especially the lower eaves. Wanted to line with aluminum, but impossible to find here, let alone proper installation. any other suggestions please. possibly some sort of non wood roofing material that would hold up to the weather and still remain attractive and impervious to insect damage.

Painting is just a temporary solution, the mold would bleed thru and then become a maintenance head ach.

Do you mean a finishing material to line the outside under surface of the eaves...or the inside as you mentione insullation etc ??

If on the outside, as mentioned alreay, we used a cement sheet product called 'viva board', is waterproof and jopints and fixation points are filled and then painted, holds up very well, easy to clean.

viva board or pen lee up seem to be both viable suggestions for lining the underside weather exposed outside of the eaves. But did not mention insulation, just INSTALLATION concerns using aluminum. Thanks all for the help

Sorry, have seen other people type 'installation' by mistake when they mean insullation, so read it as that.

What kind of alluminium did you want to use, as in roofing sheets or such ? i would think this would look silly under the eaves, have never seen it, viva board looks good, can send you pics if you want.

Elephant Brand Cement Wood Eaves. I originally purchased one type of this Cement Wood with air flow spaces Eave Material which comes in large sheets. It is available in every Home Mart and other building materials suppliers. I did not like the look after it was installed on our small garage and pool house. I then had the Elephant Brand Cement Wood boards installed in our home that look like wood. Our builder had insect screen installed under the Second story eaves since the boards have a 6 mill space between each board to allow airflow. On the ground floor there is no space between the boards. They come either unpainted or at an extra cost they are painted a dark brown. The unpainted boards were longer and less expensive. Our regular building staff installed the aluminum, the Eave Insect screens and the Cement Wood Eaves. I've attached some photos. For you music fans you might recognize a former band member of the 80's Christian Rock Band "Stryper" doing work in Buriram Province. The one photo of an INTERIOR hallway aluminum ceiling were done by a drywall company based in Buriram.
