Ok, ok.. sorry folks.

Frankly, what I have to say, may shock some of you, make others want to throw up, and if any of you smile and say, "what a good boy", at what I have to say, I will personally come over there and smack you upside the temple.

Right...

First off, an perhaps most importantly, the Shed's been finished for a while now. We have some great jamming sessions in there, with Housmate number 1 on drums, me on guitar and whoever happens along on a choice of bass, guitars, keyboards, etc.. Very cool.

French lass and I are still going strong.

So strong in fact, that I - high school dropout - have spent most of the past ten days helping her write and correct her dissertations and assigments for her B.A. in Business something or other. Very draining, very boring, and she frankly should be forbidden from writing in the English language.

(actually, she writes in French and copies pastes things into an online translator which is possibly worse)

She is quite a... er... affectionately always very close to me. I've been a loner for ten plus years.

So she's learning to understand that I need my space and I live as a single man, so don't want her round my house every waking and sleeping moment.

Of course, now that she is starting to respect this, I've had a few nights at the bar that I've finished by waking up with somebody in my bed.

Somebody other than her.

It was only two occasions within a week, with the same girl (a 19 y.o slim, blonde photography student from the smaller university in town).

Still, it helps to gain a bit of perspective on things...

Indeed, french and I are going very well indeed. Her entire family came over to visit her, and she brought them to my bar. They watched me work (ahem.. I drank less (obviously) that night) and then invited me out to lunch with them the next day.

The mother really liked me.

I told her (the gf) that I didn't really need to meet any parents until the day I put a ring on a girl's finger, but she seems intent for me to do so one day...

Oh, and one of my regulars who's finished her studies tried to come on to me last night. She's very cute, and comes from a wealthy family, but I actually behaved, despite having a fair amount of desire. So can I still be considered a good boy?

Thursday: Couldn't do much more than just be at work and drink lots of coffee.
