Thai Driving Licence And Change Of Address

Featured Replies

I changed my address a few times since I got my driving licence over 20 years ago. The licence has no expiration date.

Living at a different Thai address now than the one stated on the licence, do I have to get it changed? If so, will I get the new format, credit-card size? Will it again be without expiration date?

I think that you need to get a new license. The current ones are only good for 5 years.

My Thai friend has a 'no expiry date' licence too.

He told me he can go and change it for a another 'no expiry date' licence.

If you've had it for 20 years you probbly have a lifetime driver's license.

My husband was gone from Thailand for over 30 years and in the past

few years they put all the old records on computer....they checked for his

name and there it was.... got his lifetime back.....motorcycle too.
