Don't know; only that it's a hella big fair with rides, lights etc. Last year we went to a smaller one and still it was amazing (values, shopping, fun, 60B massages etc.)

I liked the faire much more when it was held at the stadium in town,,,

its great fun, but be careful - after 10pm I would stay clear of the concert area, too much violence and drunk youngsters.

Yes, the Chiang Mai Winter Fair being held in the park opposite the 700 year stadium on the canal road is open from 28 Dec to 10 Jan, noon till late.
