You say "no mention" of the last three months record of 400k in bank account. Did your account proof show that amount for the previous three months?

Hi lopburi3, Now I come to think about it , Yes I did have the 400,000 in my bank for 3 Months before I went to apply for the Visa One year extension this time, so that's why the Immigration officer did not mention any thing, sorry my fault for not thinking before posting :o

How come they didn't ask for 4 photos of you and your wife together inside and outside the home.

I had to go back the following day because the 2 photos I took were considered insufficient at Jomtien. :o

I notice that you say that you only had to supply 1 copy of your wife's "tabien ban" and other documents. I've always had to provide TWO photocopies of all paperwork as my local immigration office keeps one set and the other set gets sent to Bangkok for the final approval.

I usually sign all the copies at home before I go to the immigration office...I've had no problems doing this. Also I have never had to supply photographic evidence of my house or photos of my wife and I together at home.

I suppose it just goes to show that every immigration office has different ways of doing things.

Last year when I went to the korat Immigration office to apply for the same One year extension I took with me a set of photographs just in case , the Immigration officer went through my application paper work and did not request any photographs, just to make sure I did ask him if he wanted to see any photographs or require a map showing how to get to to my house his reply was ..No, I only submitted One photocopy of all my original Items and he did not ask for any more photo copy's , He did say that I should not sign any photo copy's before hand , .. as he had to see me personally sign the photo copy's in front of him.
