OMG, thats one VERY big spider, JxP!

You know, early one morning, i nearly jumped right out my slippers when faced with a spider as big as a 5 baht coin (body..more when you include the legs). I have NO idea how I would have reacted when faced with YOUR spider!

Im in CM too, I hope never to meet any as big as that one. Scarey. :o

8 years in Thailand and that's the one and only time I've met one of those beasties - the odds are in our favour I think.

Don't know what you're so bothered about anyway, it's seriously disadvantaged due to a missing leg! :D

I thought this was pretty funny until I looked at my beer.

He's one of the LXG.

Pretty colourful language on that sign Soundman. Western owned bar? I'd be both shocked and impressed if it came from a Thai, purely because of no type-o's. Arent they worried they would lose clientele with that last bit? Well, at least they got their point across. :o

..and i really wonder how the spider lost its leg (i didnt even notice).

I think they were trying to be funny.

I wouldn't frequent such a place...

And the use of the word 'Loo' ...... definitely written by someone that speaks English as their first language.

I've got a travel book by Peter Moore called "No Shitting In The Toilet", based on a sign he saw in China.

I may be completely wrong, however, I'm having a hard time believing that is his mother in the photo.

Oh yee of little faith......................being a Mod has brought out a cynical, untrusting side that simply wasn't there before.
