And Pantip is in Pattaya?

Bangkok methinks...I`ll move it to the Bangkok forum.

Pantip is a place to avoid.

Too many disrespctfull punks loitering around, hasseling customers to by porn, DVD, software etc.

It's gotten out of hand. They are actually grabbing onto people as they access the escalators.

Use Fortune Mall on Rama 9.

Easy access thru the MRT... exit Pram Ram 9 and you're there.

We must all remember this is Thailand which translated means... Greed, corruption, stealing and telling lies are the order of the day.

What a great nation this is.

VP

Why don't you tell us about YOUR great nation ??

Fortune Town IT Mall isn't at Rama 9 but at Ratchadapisek Road direct in the Hotel at the corner Din Deang Road Ratchadapisek Road.

Rama 9 starts on the other side of that corner, opposite the Din Deang Road.

But you're right the MRT station is called Param 9 Station.

Cheers.

Taking your pedant tables again? :o Many will use the MRT so using the station reference makes sense I think, though having to open packages going back is a real pain. I refused {a 22" LCD!} and used the underpass to get a taxi.

Regards

Not everybody is using the MRT!!

I use a car at all times and if someone is looking on the map for to locate where the IT mall is located, they wouldn't find it at Rama 9.

The the Name for the MRT Station point to a wrong location even if the Rama 9 is quite nearby. And the Traintracks even don't "touch" the Rama 9 because they below the Ratchadapisek Road coming from Asoke Road.

For someone a bit confuding: from Rama4 Road start's the Ratchadapisek Road until Sukhumvit Rd., change to Asoke until Intersection Din Deang and be Ratchadapisek Rd. again! And there is an other Ratchadapisek Road on the other Riverside as well!

Cheers.

Pantip is fine if you go to the right places and buy the right junk. I have a puter 2 years strong and a nice western digi 500 gig ext HD from there. Haven't been burned yet

Panthip is a magical place! Yesterday I was offered sex dvds. I find that truly amazing since it have been established by govenment officials that no such thing is sold in Panthip. I even saw a older farang gent selling fake watches. :D

On the more serious side, groundfloor at Panthip... :o especially the right wing is in a sad state:(, by offered I mean a "grabbed-hey-you-sekdvd-Patpong-manner"

We usually go with 109 (six computers) and Hardware House (fifteen computers) for our assembled computer needs, about the same level of service and the exact same quality parts wise from their Seri, Pantip, Fortune, and Seacon branches. Khun Bee (A&L) is a cutie.

:o
