what do u mean? i understand you have isuzu .

do u think isuzu servicing are cheaper? i dont think have a real reason for price differences as its the same truck with different name..

That's an interesting point about the ratio of service centers to customers. I believe the Colorado and D-Max are assembled in the same plant. The bodies are almost identical except for minor differences with the grill and perhaps a few other parts. The Colorado is pretty common here in Bangkok but the D-Max is for more common and there are a ton of them on the used car lots. The D-Max also seems to retain its value pretty well compared to other brands and certainly compared to cars where I come from.

Aren't they the same.......nut for nut and bolt for bolt? They are both General Motors products and just "badge engineered".

Just different cosmetics from what I understand

Hi katom

Yes I do have an Izusu and have no ideas or interest in Chevrolet :o

but I think you mis-undersand me, as I ASKED YOU if you are aware that pricing is different? or that one of YOUR local dealers is better than the other?

I thought these aspects may need to be considered when choosing your Truck.

well I discovered chevrolet cost 30K baht less then isuzu.

I also love the look and the interior (2 tone brown).

but still not sure about the resale and reliability..

help me with your personal view opinion about the look and other aspects that I may not aware of them right now.

thank you.

Hi again Katom

I bought the limited edition D Max LS GT 4x4, 4 door, auto and am very pleased with it. I like the simple fact that there are hardly any other identical trucks around (in 2 months seen 2 BTW). It has as standard equipment (at an increased price of 12,000b) a 36,000b Kenwood DVD/CD/tuner. grey leather interior, polished alloy wheels.starry black mica paintwork, different chrome front grill with projector lights and a few other 'gizmo's'

I too test drive many trucks and find my car stable, comfortable and has good performance on the long runs I'v had in it.

I think the 'new' look front end of the chevy is a backward step, as the 'old' one had more style.

Hi :o

If i were to chose between the two i'd go for the Chevy. Why? Because it looks better (the one with the double headlights that is, don't like the newer one). Under the skin they are identical cars (D-Max / Colorado) so reliability should be identical. Re-sale value doesn't matter for me because i don't buy a car thinking already to sell it. Do you marry with divorce on your mind? :D

Best regards.....
