Renting Small House On Outskirts Of Vientiane?

Hello,does anybody know where are the places,towns,outside or fairly near Vientiane (1-2 hr etc)where we can rent a small house with large garden area?We are hoping to grow our own vegetables,& at paying around 2-3000 baht a month if its possible,but its the garden area that is the important part,so maybe a rural area.
