Job Lost - Visa Lost ?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have been living in Thailand 2 years and have been able to had a resident visa because i had a job... job is gone now and I am requested to leave the country within 7 days or so.... I went to Laos during the week end so to get a visa on arrival. I have left the country 2 days after expiration and strange but at the airport custom I was nothing told, nothing to pay as I expected. On my arrival I will probably get a tourist visa for 30 days. After that ? The only solution is to keep on going out every 30 days ? Thanks for your help and support to clear out my doubts :o

You'll need a real tourist visa after 90 days because you now have to stay out of Thailand for 90 days after 90 days staying on visa exemption stamps. If you get a proper tourist visa, you avoid the 90 day stay outside Thailand.
