April 1, 200817 yr HiAnyone know if the GP is showing anywhere in Buriram? Would go to FC in Surin but its a late start and the Boss Lady won't allow me out after dark Thanks TBWG It's usually on in the Bamboo Bar, except when it has clashed with Premier League football, which wont be the case with the Bahrain edition. On a side note, I've just seen this on the BBC: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport...one/7324236.stm

Although I am no fan of Mosley I doubt he would be so stupid as to indulge is this escapade especially with his fathers history. If he is guilty then he deserves everything he gets especially after the music hall jibes at JYS. Everyone has skeletons in the cupboard but those who live in glasshouses should not throw stones, especially those in high profile positions. Excuse the mixed metaphors. TBWG

TBWG Today was the first time I'd heard of the story - I don't read the News of the World. Knowing that particular newspapers standards I wouldn't be surprised if the story has been greatly exaggerated to say the least. I've just read yesterdays Times article ( http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/for...icle3649197.ece ) & I tend to agree with Bernie Ecclestone's comments. I've been on the News of the World's website and the story has been taken off the video player - no doubt that Mosley's lawyers have been at work.

April 2, 200817 yr If the strong winds Bahrain is copping today continues through to Sunday it could make an interesting race. Sand is flowing across the roads like rain. Fingers crossed the dust doesn’t follow and spoil the view.
April 2, 200817 yr I've been on the News of the World's website and the story has been taken off the video player - no doubt that Mosley's lawyers have been at work. The video is still on YouTube>>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6X8BrcYCQA I wonder what his fastest s'lap was I bet Jean Todt is loving this. He must be well in front to be the next FIA President.

I wouldn't have thought they'd be a problem with the Bamboo Bar this Sunday. As I said, whenever I've been there - it's always been on except when clashing with the Premier League. TBWG
April 2, 200817 yr We pay 350 baht a month for a local cable tv outfit. To my surprise, I tuned in SP2, South African sports channel, and the Sepang GP was on live. I`ll have a look again this week-end see if they broadcast it again, if not, I install tv viewers on my pc and watch live rebroadcasts of the race on internet.

Must admit it looks like him and yes Todt must be rubbing his hands with glee. Also Ron Dennis must be feeling quite smug at the moment. TBWG Thaicoon... maybe next season

April 4, 200817 yr I watch it on my home computer. Here is how you can do the same if you have a high speed connection. 1. Go to http://pages.tvunetworks.com/ 2. download their TV viewer 3. Open the viewer 4. Go to the Wheels channel (Speed channel in the States) at 19;00 hours on Sunday and watch it at home. You can check the TV Guide section (from thier home page) and see the times for practice and qualifying so you can watch them too. Enjoy, rokit P.S. Every once in awhile they will drop a channel for a day or two so don't get too upset if the Wheels channel disappears for a day or two. It is now on. I also watch NASCR on this channel
April 5, 200817 yr For anybody with PSI Satellite system, it is on Palapa 2 Global TV channel at 17.00 local time,Sunday 6th.

I could be that I have a hooky copy of Windows Vista that is causing the problem. Any ideas anyone? TBWG
April 5, 200817 yr Bahrain weather update. It’s been muggy with haze for most of today. In the last few hours clouds have started to appear in the normal cloudless sky. Occasional rumbles of thunder can be heard in he distance. The temperature is pleasant and cooled since the clouds appeared.
