Spot on, Vegies. It's like so many other threads. Many will start off interestingly, but then someone will start a flame, the thread goes downhill and I lose interest. We were all newbies once, but the newbies seem to be the worst offenders. Perhaps it's a small mirror of life.

Yes, it could be interpreted that way - I should have been clearer. I was only directing the comment towards experience, maturity and wisdom (which are usually harmonious bedfellows, but not always). I don't claim that the youth of today are any 'better' or 'worse' than the youth of our day (within the parameters of evolving cultures).

Much better than that. Went to Kan Beach instead and had a great time. Photos also coming anon. It was "Family Day" in Thailand 14th April , so that was where we went, after visiting 3 temples.
