Stationary Exercise Bike

Featured Replies

Would anyone know where to buy a recumbent* stationary exercise bicycle in CM ?

(* the "lying down" and not the "sitting up" type )

Thank you.

There's an outfit in Huay Kauw Rd about 200m beyond Central on the same side that has what looks like a lot of used Gym quality gear.

Sportsworld at Kad Suan Kaew have a good range, as does the sports department in Robinsons, Airport Plaza.

My take on home exercise equipment, and word to the wise for new buyers is this - Try to buy a used one for cheap. The reality is that ppl often go out n plunk down a generous amount of cash for a new piece of home gym equipment, use it for a week or two, start to make excuses, and then it becomes a piece of furniture taking up space in the house, ne'er to be used again. There are plenty of Thai webboards where you might find one, good as new, for sale for cheap. If you have a Thai partner she even may know where to look. Otherwise you may investigate Cragislist Thailand/BKK and see what's there. This is also preventative on your part as well, in case you too may be purchasing an elaborate new piece of mechanical sit-in-the-corner-unused furniture. This is how most of the manufacturers and gyms as well make their money.

I'm looking for a gym quality Elliptical machine if anyone is selling one for a reasonable price. I don't want a piece of junk that will break down in a few months.
