Ground has been broken for a new cash and carry Western Food Country Style Store at Don's in Baan Doi Hang. This store will be combined with the existing bakery. The bakery will feature a lot of full grain European breads. The country store will have a good selection of portion cut and vacuum packed steaks, natural casing sausages, Mexican Food Makings, English bacons, many Coleman's English products and a good selection of cheeses, cold cuts and other items hard to find in Chiang Rai.

An opportunity to drive a little and save a lot by buying at wholesale prices. Should be fully operational in about 45 days.

Don's is located on the road to the national park, hot springs and water falls. We are directly in front of the New Doi Hang Wat. We have some large signs and should be able to see them. The parking is down a little hill and there is a sign there. Do not turn off to go to the prison but continue until you see the signs. If you get lost call me at 081 894 6401.

excellent news - that will make many people in CM very happy.

How did the barbecue go?

the bbq went very well - with free beer and ribs it is pretty difficult for it to be a disaster but with the change of date due to the election and threatening rain came close. 161 members and guests turned up for the event which is a very good turnout. Everyone had a good time - no food left and very little beer survived the night.
