First with Chantouch Srinilta, District Sales Manager for Phuket, at Thai Airways International, as they restart direct Tokyo-Phuket flights on 17 July; TG671 departs 10:00, arrives 15:25 on a Boeing 777; Capacity is 309 passengers; it restarts twice a week Thursdays & Saturdays; but 1 way only at first, but cuts about 3-4 hours off indirect flights via Bangkok; he first tells us when & why they decided to restart the direct flights:
