:o Help! I had to leave most of my CD collection behind when I left the UK.

Been looking for replacements with nil success - plenty of general Western and Thai stuff in the supermarkets but cannot find any classical at all.

Is there anywhere in Pattaya that sells classical CDs or will this mean a trip to BKK?

Any (polite) suggestions appreciated.

:D Thanks for the help guys. I had a look in RGP - very limited selection. Looks like a trip to BKK for me - anyone know a good classical CD outlet there?

I might be tempted to get Nero up and running once Windows finishes downloading XP SR2. 50% so far and rising oh so slowly and, until it finishes, web browsing etc. goes like an arthritic snail. It's like waiting for Xmas, which is about when it will finish, at the present rate. Thank you Mr. Gates! :o

There's a Tower on the top floor of Siam Centre that's okay, but I'd suggest you look first around World Trade Centre (or whatever they're calling it this week). There are several smaller shops among the specialist audio dealers on the 3rd floor that have better stock of the less high profile stuff. I can't remember the names of any of them, but they're all pretty much interchangable and their names don't mean much. They're all at the end down near Zen.

There's a branch of CD Warehouse in Emporium (BTS - Phrom Phong station), but its no better than the other branches. However, right next to Kinokuniya book shop (same floor as CD Warehouse) there is a small shop (can't remember the name) which has a very interesting and "different " selection of classical music CDs and DVDs, including a lot of opera DVDs. Expect to pay FULL price though!
