Jet / Ptt

Featured Replies

Does this mean the end of the Jiffy shop and clean toilets to be replaced by the sordid PTT standards and those tawdry seven elevens?

PTT own Jet Jiffy stations and will rebrand them as PTT stations but keep the Jet Jiffy stores.

Lets hope they keep the standards up to Jet's, rather than slide back to the old PTT stations' which were appalling.

Not so in Chiang Mai province. PTT places have a good reputation up here, generally, for cleanliness, efficiency, and some Very nice n-easy tyre inflators where all you do is pre-set the pressure you want and apply the nozzle to your valves.

But will the pricing policy change from Jet, which I've found to have the cheapest petrol in Thailand and the most expensive shops?

And if anyone knows anyone at Shell Thailand, PLEASE get them to properly label the different flavours of the pumps so you can see them AS YOU DRIVE IN. I am so hacked off, finding myself on the wrong side the wrong darned pump I refuse to use Shell any more.

The customer is king! Vote with your steering wheels!

Air pumps are standard at every Jet Station, never seen them at PTT here in Bangkok. Rebranded Jets keep them, thank god, but there's alway a que.

I hope they kee the same stock in the shops too...at least it seemed to have some relevance to motoring/travel...unlike those grubby 7/11s

Prices for fuel have certainly converged in the last month in Buriram with it appearing that PTT who used to be cheaper than Jet by perhaps 50 satang a litre now raising their prices to match Jet's. Minimal effect even on a full tank but worth more to the Thais.
