Does anyone knows a good club, bar hangout spot where I can go to hear some rock, heavy metal or trash metal?

I also would like to get away from the crowd of Patong (during Christmast & New Year) and find a nice spot to have a beer and great music, any local spot where there is not too many tourist.

You could try "Easy Rider" in Kata, they play some metal, but a lot of it is old skool stuff, nothing thrash really.

Its down near the Kata Pharmacy, just get yourself into Kata and ask one of the locals they will direct you. Theres a few live music places popping up, so when/if you get bored with Easy Rider there might be another spot that might hold your interest.

You could try Jammin in Phuket Town for "up to date" rock. Live Band that is probably the best on the Island. The place really goes off!

Thank you guys I'll be sure to check these places out, it does bot have to be trash metal but good rock music on cd or live band.
