Where’s the best Saturday/Sunday brunch? Have to be able to take the Family and some friends along, so not Soi8 style or a loud Chinese tour group place.

She likes Thai and I go for falang, some likes to mix it... there should be some cheese & decent bread. The coffee must be consumable. Preferably outdoors.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Spaghetti Bobs AKA Restaurant Bar Nong. Thappraya Road. Best Italian in town and great prices plus they own the Thai place next door so tilac can munch all the fried cockroaches she wants.

Is open and located next to a very busy road but otherwise can't be beat.

Any quality places on the Dark-Side?

i have to recommend Chonlada, but not sure how big your party is. could pull together a couple of tables on the patio outside. coffee is mokador, if that helps :o

Casa Pascal is about Baht 900 (used to include a glass of wine)

Bad news - doesn't start doing Sunday brunch again until beginning October!

At 900 baht I could have a buffet in any expensive joint in Canada or America.

Come on , this is Thailand and a good buffet should be doable at 300 baht (600 should be superb).

I find most buffets in Pattaya to be too pricey and/or simply not good.

Then forget about Mantra and Amari also at 1,000+++

Not worth it in my opinion and when you're taking someone who doesn't eat more than a bird then definitely not.

Now if it was all you can drink included. YES :o

The Italian doesn't do brunch. If you think pre-cooked, frozen and microwaved food is the best you really haven't had Italian!

The Thai place that was next door was NEVER owned by them. Rin's Kitchen moved when the road started being redone and is now down the next soi.

Jameson's all you can eat Carvery from 11 am @ 350 Baht.

Thai food from the menu.

Took my own advice and had the carvery at Jameson's yesterday.

Delicious as usual and several selections of meats and vegetables.

And they're happy to accomodate kids too.
