Hoping someone can help. I'm looking for a basic but clean aircon room in central Lamai just for one night to put the head down. Doesn't have to be anything flash just clean with aircon and be central. I heard there are rooms going for circa 500 baht??

Would be grateful for any suggestions.

there are some excellent rooms for about 650 THB........ one block is next door to weekender photolab

Also with a shortage of tourists, you may even get a better deal

It is opposite the Indian Restaurant, in between the Pavillion and weekender resort

I stayed there when it first opened a few years back, clean room, but very basic, also expensive for what you get.... also no pool and a distance from the beach..... you can get alot better then BT if you look... also Weekender have just open apartments opposite there hotel, pool the lot from 12K per month.
