Thai Meteorological Department Issue Another Weather Warning About Heavy Rain And Flooding.

The warning was issued today September 11, 2008:

The trough of active low pressure lies across central and eastern Thailand while the nearly strong southwest monsoon dominates over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. Abundant rains with heavy to very heavy rains in many places are likely over these mentioned areas. People in the risky areas, such as Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun plus many other provinces should beware of flooding conditions during 11-13 September, 2008. All ships should proceed with caution during this period.
