If any body has gotten a letter from an embassy/conulate and had it accepted please let us know,

Also if you have tried and got it turned down by immigration,

The member has already been in contact with the Australian consulate in Vientiane and they will issue the letter.

Please reply on the other topic also so everybody will know.

I have obtained a letter from the UK Embassy certifying my income and anther certifying my residence.

Both were accepted and used at the Nan Immigration (mind you it was 4 years ago)

As the letters are in English I do not see why it should be restricted to an Embassy in Thailand but as TIT maybe check first with your local immigration office
