I have been hearing that the Thai embassy in Phnom Penh is extremely unfriendly. I need to go to Cambodia to visit friends next month and was hoping to get a new tourist visa there at the same time. I already have several previous Thai tourist visas. Is the embassy still unfriendly or have they relaxed a bit like at the Penang embassy? It would be a shame to have to go all the way to Phnom Penh and then go elsewhere to get a visa when there is a perfectly good embassy right there.

Thanks

I have not read about any changes at Phnom Penh; as far as I understand they are still far from 'perfectly good'.

You might get lucky if you are applying for a single entry tourist visa, but you probably will also get a stamp telling you not to come back.
