Lopburi, I've been to Saipan several times and could've swore there was a Thai consulate there. Can't remember what made me think there was. I've just looked through the Saipan phone and trade directories that I had lying around, but now see there's nothing there.

Thaiflyer, wish I had won the lottery, maybe I could've built a Thai consulate there.

Reason for going to Saipan is that I've accumulated enough NWA airmiles that would give me two free trips there. The NWA flight from BKK arrives after the plane for Saipan has left so I get free nights accommodation/food in Narita. Same for the return from Saipan.

I just fancied a little mini break in Saipan and two in Japan. If I was able to get a visa in Saipan it would've made a change from having to go to Penang for the x0th time.

Sorry to waste your time guys, I don't have my thinking head screwed on properly.
