A couple of full side shots as requested of the "thermos" radiator overflow mod. Also just did a number plate relocation mod like seen on "NormanW" er6n. Just a little different as I didn't drill the mounting screws directly through the plate itself, just used the existing studs & bent up a couple of small brackets.

Do the bib give you any hassle for having your plate there?

In nearly a year of having my plate in the same location the police have ticketed me once but that was in Prawet during Songkran and we all know about those Prawet boys...... Either way it's illegal to have it located at such an angle and obstructed by the rear wheel so it's my own fault, but a 100Baht fine (reduced from 1000 by a police friend of mine) is nothing to keep the rear end of the bike looking mighty fine IMO :D

Bangkok based, got a er6n 2012.. Can anyone give me advice on where to buy mods? I'm wanting the new zard full system, tail tidy, some Matt black paint work, carbon front wheel cover, new mirrors.. List goes on..

I'm sukhumvit.. The new app for maps is getting me nowhere!

Here are some pics of the racesets - no height adjustment but good quality. 6.5kBaht from Kspeed BKK.

Notice the thickness of these compared with lots of others that are half the thickness. Just a thought.

Getting them in black was a challenge as well!

Just ordered a full Leo Vince system from BP Racing in Pattaya - will take a month to land (that will give me more time to save up for it :) )

Keep those good times rolling.

For those who are looking for esthetic mods, I discovered a shop which is doing some nice aluminium parts at reasonable prices in china town.

It is called bikers (www.bikers.co.th). On their website go to accessories then select Kawasaki Er6n....

I bought a few parts for my Versys and it is good quality.

Ride safe!

Most of their stuff adds weight and looks ghastly.... But each to their own :)

I just got a new Throttlemiester cruise control in the U.S. for my ER6N & it rocks!!!!!! Next is the gel seat to mod the front portion of the seat along with changing the seat forward position upwards instead of the standard down position so the ole lady doesn't slide forward & crush my nards against the tank sick.gifcrazy.gif.

Bira was a wash out today :(

I was the only one to get out before the downpour for about 10 laps. Khun Mint said I didn't have to pay. I would have preferred to pay and get some more laps in but hey, you can't win all the time can yer?

Can someone please recommend places in Bangkok where I can buy a sturdy Thai-made rack for ER-6F 2009? I don't really want to pay for SW-Motech.

I don't need any fittings for the box, will just strap a large drybag on top of the rack.

have a look through the ER6thailand.com classified section. I'm sure i saw some well priced racks a while back. But i warn you, there are alot of pages to search through, as most of the companies use multiple page threads to list and sell their latest products, resulting in literally 100's of pages per company.

Sometimes they pop up in the secondhand section below the sponsored threads :)

Norman that is exactly what I am looking for!

Do you have a link or part numbers so I can order the kit as well? I looked online at K speed & had a hard time finding any info on the motive line other than the side markers.

Thanks Much appreciated

Barry

That's funny, as I got them from K Speed. I don't have any part numbers sorry.
