Falling Tourist Revenues

Featured Replies

Given all the complaining about bar prices and lack of tourists why do bar owners not cut the beer prices and attract a few more customers. Better to have something rather than nothing.

We all know how much the stuff costs in Macro.

I know on my next vist, with 50 Bhat to the £, that is where I will head. I'll sit on my terrace and let the greedy sods starve. :o

Better still try Lao Khao........set this as a must if the pound falls to 45 :o

Because the landlords don't cut their prices, the staff still has to be paid etc etc...

i wish they could stop producing that crappy lao khao and do even a cheap sake out of the rice.

never had it but i guess it sounds as bad as the feni in india, wowsers that shit rips the lining of your stomach !

Tried both, prefer Lao Khao. eatdrink048.gif

Can't imagine that the revenues are going to be helped by the poor exchange rate. 1 UK pound = 50.5 Baht!

Anyone got any ideas if the Baht situation is going to get better or worse?
