Possible To Find Vacant Rooms On Foot At Patong?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Around this time, is it possible to find a vacant room close to Patong beach (ex. Nanai, or closer) if I go looking when I arrive without making any prior reservations?

My friend and I will arrive on Saturday, Jan 10. We just cant find time to search online.

Thanks!

post-35854-1231279399_thumb.pngIt should be no problem.....if you want the beach , walk it....cheaper , go up to Na Nai Road and walk it from Soi Nam Yen ....if you want go to Jongceylon, the hotel I think opened but you on a budget, walk up to NA Nai road from there....the street that leads to Na Nai has lots of little hotels , that are nice & reasonable

Always used to stay at M's guest house...give a call 076-345676 about 5 -10 minutes to the beach...take the road opposite the hospitol up towards the fire station and then just past there....probably about 1,000 - 1,500 a room now as high season but includes braekfast..friendly & very helpful people also..

Crazy.

I use Hostel World all over the world.

Fatest answer - yes, you will find a room easily enough, especially on Nanai Road areas - I always stay at Baan Tonsai and to date have never had a problem.

Indeed, there are rooms available.

I recommend booking the first night, to avoid a tiring search that could lead to paying too much.

Here in Soi Banzaan (between Nanai and Jungceylon) the prices seem to be under 1000. Walk around and you'll surely find a place that you like.

Kellys 950 with a pool.. Couple of other gems along there too for low prices..

Not going to post them publicly as when I need a room for mates they will be full.. But just get out and scope them, lots of options..

I would have thought ten minutes on line would take a lot less time than trudging around the streets checking hotels one by one. :o

Yeah, HostelWorld...crap selection of rooms, plus they charge you DOUBLE for each room if you are on your own. Also, they DO charge a booking fee - usually the 10% deposit you pay on booking.

Avoid at all costs. Just wander around soi banzan - dozens of places.
