Swedish tourist found dead in Pattaya hotel

PATTAYA: -- A Swedish man was found dead in a Pattaya hotel's room early Saturday, police said.

Stom Kjell Lennaiet, 66, [Kjell Lennart Strom] was found dead in a room of Welcome Jomthien Hotel at 2 am.

Hotel workers told police that the man checked in about a month ago.

The man did not the room since Friday morning so the staffs decided to call him. He did not answer, so the staffs opened the room to find his body on the bed.

Another news report says he had a heart condition and there were no signs of foul play.

The main reason why so many expats/tourists die here is

1/ oldish guys come here for retirement

2/drink far more than normal

3/ smoke far more than normal

4/ knocking viagra/kamagra/cialis like sweeties

5/ too much sexsercise lol.

6/ very hot weather increasin blood pressure

very few get murdered here.

Let´s hope that it was all of natural causes, RIP.

The only thing that bothers me a little bit with this story is that I have heard of several cases recently where men have been drugged by spiked drinks in Pattaya and then cleaned out by the lady or ladies they picked up. It seems that there are several different gangs that are working this scheme in the Pattaya/Jomtien area right now.

The problem with this scenario is that it is almost impossible for a non medical educated person to spike a drink without a risk of overdoing it. Then if the victim are having a heart condition or are on medication all kinds of problems can come up and in worst cases it can mean death for the victim.

let´s just hope that that is not the case here!

international unbiased statistics don't support your argument and if you have lived sometime in thailand and integrate and talk to thais and not farang you will know that murders are high here (thai and farang)
