T - I presume you mean the full size spade and fork rather than the small version for flower beds etc. Yesterday I bought a garish yellow all-metal spade from a hardware shop near Prackhon Chai market for 180 baht. I didn't see any forks. My g/f says you can probably get a spade in Big C but she has never seen a garden fork.

Heavens above, you'll be wanting a rake next !!! When it comes to garden tools and Thais the words ' Rocket Science ' spring to mind. Years ago I brought out a ladies fork and spade ( heads only ) from England as back then I had no luck finding anything suitable. You might have some luck in a place like Home Pro or Global though . I'll keep my eyes open and if I see one in my local branch they might have one in yours. I'll let you know.
January 26, 200917 yr Go to your local Home Pro they have some good quality ones in there.. I have even got the locals using my spade and fork collection and you can pick up a pick axe for about 200 baht.
January 27, 200917 yr Most large home supply places will have them. When you buy the spade go for the more expensive one. Just pick them up and compare the difference in weight. The first one I bought a few years ago bent the first time I put my foot to it to make a hole.
