never been to hua hin but am planning to visit in april. i was just wondering could anyone help me with the following inquirie. there will be about eight of us, 4 adults and 4 kids. am looking for a house or villa with 3/4 bedrooms for about 5 nights. is it easy to find around hua hin or are they expensive.

Most owners will not want to rent for that short a period.

1) House has to be made ready

2) House has to be cleaned after

1+2=P.I.A.

3) Eight people means heavy wear and tear.

So, its possible but it won't be cheap.

I own and I wouldn't do it for all of the above. Just not worth it.

We stayed in HH recently and for part of the time we stayed in a nice new hotel called Markwin Lodge. On the top floor they have larger rooms (like small suites) with a kitchenette. As an alternative you might want to get two of these rooms side by side. The web address is www.hh-markwinlodge.com

It is not on or near the beach but could be a good reasonably priced alternative for such a short stay. It is on a ridge so you do get a good breeze, plus it has a nice pool.

It's a shame I didn't see your post earlier, I have a 4 bedroom villa in Hua Hin that I am happy to rent out in this way. It set in a large landscaped garden with a swimming pool.

If you end up liking Hua Hin and want to go back maybe I can help.
