Why are many people so partisan?
Known for hyperbole and occasionally misstating something. If we exclude narcissists from politics and taking all the abuse that comes with it, then we'd have no governments. Biden even lied about his son's death. Leftist media continually lies about Trump. And he's not "convicted," or a felon. That's merely a DNC talking point for the yokels, widely repeated here. People elected Trump to carry out the policies in the Republican Party platform, and he seems to be positioning himself to do just that against powerful entrenched interests. So if he succeeds, then you might think it was smart of those who support the policies to have elected him. If you don't like the policies, then it is of course the righteous duty of any self-respecting forum poster to call "stupid" (and worse) those who do--and demonize the man implementing them, no matter how well he succeeds. Dogs need their fleas. -

Bangkok Motor Expo shifts into high gear to rev up bookings
Sales are really slow at the moment, judging by the number of red plate cars on the road. I saw only 5 or 6 in 3 hours of heavy traffic from Ratchaburi back to Bangkok last weekend. I see maybe only 1-2 every morning going to and from work. Aside from changes to lean rules, people who want to get a new car are still wary about EV's and sudden changes to their prices. The are holding off until the market price is more stable. Fortunately, I won't be looking for a new car for another 8-10 years. -

Why are many people so partisan?
It's very natural for people to look at a person's previous decisions and statements to form an opinion of what that person will do and say in the future. And, when an obvious lying person makes an offer, it is very reasonable to question the true nature and actual value of that offer. I hope you can connect the dots from this point forward. -
