I kind of preferred the closed off street with all the cart vendors near the hospital, it was nice to have a walk up and down looking at all the food. Now they have all been moved to the new 'market" complex with cafeteria seating it has lost it's appeal.

The New Night Market Area seems to have been finished for a long time, I am just surprised that it took so long for them to make the move... But I agree with you that the old "Soi Market" as I called it was much more enjoyable even if not as clean...
