If you pick up a free copy of 'Pattaya' magazine, on the back page there is a generous 10% discount ticket which you can cut-out and redeem at 'Food Wave' on the upper floor of the Royal Garden Mall.

I was starting to forget there are other malls other than Central now. Actually I'm reveling in the new emptiness of Carrefour!

Update

The latest edition of 'Pattaya'magazine (March) also has the 10% food discount voucher on the rear. Collect a copy at various supermarkets and save cash!

i have stopped using any place that charges a service charge on principle.

You'll be missing out on some good dining in Pattaya if you stick to that rule on principle. I just consider if the meal is worth the price with 10% added on. If yes, I'll gladly pay it.

You can always save a bit by not leaving a tip ... I never do at 10% service charge added on places.

Fuji is worth the service charge, esp. since I'd give a 20 baht tip anyway.
