Can anyone recommend a good honest mechanic in Chalong for my Honda Dream - it needs a load doing on it....

Yes I can.

From Chalong circle, take the road to Kata. On the right hand side, opposite KL supermarket (the one that has the burger place in front), there is a bike shop run by a bloke called Lek.

He has fixed problems on my Classis Honda Cub 70 that four other mechanics mis-diagnosed.

You can't buy these bikes, you have to find one, then do it up.

The red one in the picture I bought for 20,000 Bt. It has an owners book which is not common. Many of them don't, so the price would be a lot lower. The red one is a 1982 Honda Cub C70.

Bike = 20,000 Bt.

Respray = 4,500 Bt.

Chrome electroplating (in Bangkok) = 9,000 Bt

Spare parts = 7,000 Bt.

Labour = 4,000 Bt.

Total = 44,500 Bt.

Yes i understand you, my HD dont come out for small trips, so the Honda would be great around the lake. and down to Chalong pier
