Well I'm 84 kilos and quite slim (could do with losing a couple of kilos maybe) but I have not weighed 54 since I was 12!

wahhh? Last time i was weighed (couple of week ago at the hospital) I was 54kgs also...

(But I prefer not to know my exact weight or weigh myself much..what about you guys?)

When i went home to Scotland for Xmas I weighed 52, I stayed a week and weighed myself everyday (I don't have scales here at home) and I put on 4 kilos in a week.

Even though Mama had a week off and it was me doing all the cooking. Except for the turkey...

But then I have always been a skinny person.

When i first came to Thailand (2 year ago) I was at least 10kg lighter. I used to run 10km at least 3 days a week as well as using a lot of weights. I was very strict with my diet and exercise (i confess I limited my calories so much it could probably be classed as anorexic in nature). At 5'7" I was not at a healthy body weight, especially considering I had quite a lot of muscle tone at that time. Of course, its a body that was complemented on a lot. Its a bit sad that a body that is toned but has bones protruding and is basically unhealthy is considered enviable. I know I felt proud of my hard work, but at the same time obsessed and depressed about food and exercise.

Maybe it was natures way, but ill health forced me to calm down. I developed a thyroid condition which knocked the wind out of me. Put on weight and lost energy. Now that is regulated with hormone replacement pills thankfully. At times I do wish I was as strong fitness wise now, especially on the irregular times i huff and puff my way through a fitness programme that is not even half as strenuous as 2 yr ago. But, Im very glad to not be obsessed like that anymore. I threw away the scales a year or more ago, and havent ever looked back.

Wow eek, 45kg!! that is way too thin for your height. Glad you are taking a more relaxed attitude to your weight.

I've been slim, fat, really fat & now nearly back to slim again but I have a chronic illness that makes me realise that there really are much more important things to care about & couldn't give a crap anymore, so I'm glad you worked that out too Eek.

So, it's the the 54 club then.... plus me & suegha
