You know the sort of thing that I mean! About 20cm high and slatted with bamboo, width and length the same as a double bed, usually grandma sits on them in Issan whilst chewing the betalnut....

I am not going 'local'. I have a few camping tents at the hotel which worked just great - and then the rains came. I want to pitch these tents on a bamboo Issan table, as opposed to directly on the ground, so that the tent is kept out of the rain puddles.

I know of a few shops/roadside stalls that sell bamboo household wares, but don't recall seeing the large Issan tables.

there is a bamboo furniture shop on the right hand side on the way to town from chalong, just past mook pearl (i think) they should have them or be happy to make them
