Max Size Of Files

Featured Replies

I've been trying to download (or is it upload) photos to the album but having probs. Getting message that the files don't exist or are invalid - depending on where I try to download them from.

However, I tried photo files taken on a camera which I retrieved from the arc and it worked.

Is there a max. size file and is there a way around this? My photos are in JPEG (can use RAW but these are even bigger) and exceed 3 megabytes.

Tks

Jpeg 3 Meg :o

Wauw that must be a high resolution.

Resize them for internet use to a maximum of 400 pixels wide in full colour.

That should give you between 80 and 300 k max. :D

as pages in a frame are usually not more then 600 pixels they will fit in nicely.

there is probably a widht and height limit on the gallery

Not really - shooting with a Nikon D70 6 meg pixel, fine res. on jpeg.

Yes, but far too big for most Internet users to wait to download and to view. I always resize mine to 640x480 and save with reduced quality so the file size is about 150 - 200 kbytes.
