30 Day Visa On Arrival / Visa Exemption When Flying

Featured Replies

Hi, I've looked in various threads and perhaps I am just inept at using these forums. Please could someone point me in the right direction or let me know whether or not I can still fly out of Thailand and back in the next day and get a 30 day visa exemption? I'm a UK citizen and have been coming in and out of Thailand since July 2008 with probably a total of 1.5 months spent out of country during that time.

Also, does anyone know of cheap airlines other than air asia that fly between Malaysia and Krabi or Phuket as that would be my preferred route.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

:o

PS. is there still no fee for visas?

Yes as a UK citizen you will receive a 30 day stamp arriving from any country to a Thai aiport, and a 15 day stamp arriving by a land border. There is no limit whatsoever on how often you may use these stamps (except the pages in your passport).

Yes. JT is correct.

Check out Air Asia they have flights from Krabi and Phuket to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

As already stated you will get 30 days on your return.
