Which subforums do you think are safe from the Mob?

Although I don't post much there Bop, Ladies is generally good the female sniper rifles are dam good at keeping it in check :o

My personal favourite is Visa's for other countries, because I have learnt and contributed and been helped quite a bit in there, have passed on some help and I have been known to pass on some poor advice too, but flames are kept to a minimum, but it has gone a little downhill recently.

Health is not bad, Sheryl is top of the game, Thai language the same, Farang Pub is on the up and I personally like to add to the Eastern Forum when I can, will do so a lot more in the future.

Good Luck

I still post in General, it helps to keep in touch with the unruly mob screaming at the gates of Bedlam.

S.E. Asian forum i like to keep in with as I'm still not 100% committed to Thailand.

I've even posted in Photography recently. :o

Pattaya forum, because that's where I spent/spend most of my time when in Thailand.

I agree with much of the above. General is too crazy so I have a look and leave, Pub is generally okay but when you've been around a while threads get repetative. Ladies is great, mostly civilized and well moderated for the odd <deleted> who tries to be sexist or 'funny'. The food forums whilst not being busy are always fine. I no longer post in Buddhism as there are too many narrow minded twits there, shame really as there are some great posters there too.

So, most of my posting is in Bedders these days! :o

ps, as my house is on Samui I tend to check that forum. Only drawback is there are posters who are 'super-negative'.

trend or just co-incidence :o

I do post outside Bedlam every now and again, but it doesn't feel anywhere near as comfortable as in here.

Isaan forum isn't bad, but it can get a bit dull sometimes.

female sniper rifles

I love that :o

female sniper rifles

I love that :D

haha, nice imagery. :D

Well, yes, Samui forum does seem to be full of negative, argumentative and unhappy people. Not sure what to do about that when the positive people dont' contribute tho. :o

Eastern could use some more help, tbh, But it does seem to be on the up so that is nice to see.

thats why i am always in there :o

but the forum aint the same since Mattia33 was banned and Arkmanelf disappered, but we still have the good all regulars....

arkmanelf was a regular poster of that I am sure. And mattias well, mattias got more than his fair share of chances.

FemaIe sniper rifIes - BriIIiant!

Agree about SheryI, she reaIIy is wonderfuI.

I reguIarIy go to the Chiang Mai forum and usuaIIy enjoy the banter in there (aIthough recentIy got a bit shot down! :D:D ), Iadies forum of course too. But, as I hit the "view new posts" button a Iot, I often find something that I feeI I shouId heIp out with or something I cant heIp but bite on. In my everyday Iife I keep a Iid on things, so its fun to occasionaIIy spout off. :D:o

I kinda have to do General :o

but by choice it would be Footie :D :D

and in here...but since having to spend time in General I cant be as active here.... :D

I subscribe to ladies....cos its interesting, but not all that active..

I dont need to MOD there as much cos SBK and Boo are way quicker than me in dealing with the weirdos...or perhaps they come out late night thailand time....by which time Im already asleep :D

ohhh and every now and then Id pop into the foodie too

(for someone who doesnt cook, I enjoy food a lot, and in fact love watching cooking shows :wai: )

Yeah, that's what I thought. I peek out there from time to time but always find myself in Bedlam.....it's home! :o

I dabble in the Pattaya, Eastern, and the odd jaunt in general, where snake stories are a favourite.

Used to enjoy the " Song Title " game although that seems frowned upon in certain quarters.

I have been told that Wolverhampton Wanderers are not in the lower leagues, so have no where to comment on them in footie.

Have heard about the " Rocket Science" lads, but have not found my way there yet.

Oh and deep in the depths of the housing thing you will find pictures of my Pong house construction........Happy days.

Do trusting posting anything outside Bedlam? Or are the common horde just not to be trusted? :D

I don't understand the question. :o

General, Bangkok and the food forums probably get most of my attention - if not for posting, then at least for reading (or "lurking" if you will :o).

View New Posts can be good for an overview of everything, and of course any threads with a red X next to them will get clicked on immediately :D.

Sorry Croc, my Americanese failed me there. Do you find posting outside of the Bedlam subforum emjoyable still or has it become filled with too many wanke_rs?

Yes, the Phuket forum, but I mainly lurk there. There always seems to be the odd one or two newbies who haven't come to grips with civility. It's interesting, over time, to see those who change for the better and those who continue to be pests. Luckily, the latter types ultimately seem to get sorted out one way or another. I've never been a big fan of General - post there very rarely. The asylum is my preferred spot, without doubt.

Just having a bit of fun with you mate. :D

Like Ping I have an interest in Phuket and post in that forum now and again, but it is certainly infested with said wanke_rs and trolls from elsewhere. Occassionaly I help out with visa and travel questions in those two forums. Sometimes I like to throw a one liner at the very insular people in the Chiang Mai forum, but they largely ignore me. :o

I have an interest in many sports and post there without being an English style fanatic about it. I do enjoy the challenges involved in finding places in the Google Earth geography thread (one of the hardest things is to find which forum it has most recently been moved to). Many dismiss that thread as just another word game, but a single answer could take hours to find, which I guess highlights my sad existance. :D

I very infrequently post in General because of the overwhealming rubbish posted in every thread by the ignorant, the wanke_rs, the trolls and those who have a desperate need to state the bleeding obvious even if 20 others have already said it. I read Forum Support for information and laughs.

But like most of us here I post mainly in Bedlam these days.

I find the tech fora pretty good, esp the software downloads section

I think most of the specialised sections are fine. people with common interests, etc...

general & pub, I agree with others' sentiments: a bit of a chore.

and guess who gets to MOD BOTH of those fora

:o

I'm a big fan of burgers, pizzas and fry up breakfasts so I follow the Chiang Mai forum with passion. :o

Bedlamites don't bite fast or hard enough.....a bit like fishing for flathead....you've got to hit them on the snout with the sinker to wake them up.

No such problem in General.

Never had a use for fishing...I have always been honest about my drinking habits. :o

What happened Ms eek?

Oh hah..wait ill go find the thread..

Ok.. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Played-Karoa...ls-t252600.html

Was kinda funny really. Served me right for some tongue-in-cheek sarcasm. Trouble is, I goad a little bit sometimes. Part of me likes to see what will happen if i say something that I know may push a few buttons. But, I didnt say anything mean (i think). Anyway, when the going starts to get nasty, I prefer to back out. The cowardly or honourable thing, i have no idea. But I definitely dont enjoy slanging matches. No winners. So i bow out.

:o

The last time I posted in the Chiang Mai forum, the next poster had a nasty go at my attempt at humour.
